Laura-Jane Foley
Laura-Jane Foley read English and History of Art at Cambridge University. Whilst there she edited the student newspaper Varsity and featured on the Channel 4 programme Faking It.
She continued her studies in History of Art at Oxford University, reading for a Masters where she also edited the ISIS magazine. She went on to read for a PhD, her doctoral research focusing on Lucian Freud.
Laura-Jane has appeared in several stage productions and made her film debut in Perfect Woman. She has taken part in many vocal recordings – including most recently on Disney's Prince Caspian soundtrack. A former member of the National Youth Choir and former Cambridge Choral Scholar, Laura-Jane now sings with the Bach Choir and TESERA.
Laura-Jane has written articles for many local and national magazines and newspapers including The Times, The TES and The Liberal. She is currently editor of Politick! Magazine. She has also edited The Butterfly Book, a charity art book in aid of Leukaemia Research.
Laura-Jane has lectured in Art History at Bristol University and worked as an assistant to Martin Kemp on the successful and controversial Seduced: Art and Sex from Antiquity to Now exhibition at the Barbican. She is currently working on a film about the artist Mary Fedden.
